What do AI and digital health tools mean for legal and privacy obligations?
Join me on day one at this year’s conference for the panel presentation, A Clinician’s Guide to Leveraging the AI Galaxy While Avoiding the Legal Abyss: Tips from the Commissioner, the Physician Scientist, and the Lawyer.
The panel will feature Patricia Kosseim, Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC), Amol Verma, MD, General Internal Medicine, St. Michael’s Hospital and Will Falk, Canadian Standards Association Public Policy Fellow. The presenters will discuss how AI and digital health technologies are shaping legal and privacy obligations for clinicians. On day two, I will provide a Legal and Privacy Year in Review, with key updates on IPC guidance, emerging legislation, and risks, along with practical compliance strategies for clinicians. I will be joined by Andrew Drummond, Director of Health Policy at the IPC.
